RESIDENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN-MECHANIC:

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO:

As a Resident Service Technician, you will work on all makes and models of agriculture equipment in the field and/or in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to support our customers and maximize their uptime. Being an advanced technician, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself working on advanced John Deere equipment and technology with the support and resources you need to perform top-notch work. You will cover a large area and support customers from Garfield County to the Camas Prairie while occasionally working in Moscow, ID.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 4 or more years of working knowledge of agricultural equipment and or similar heavy equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems.
• A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
• The discipline and skill to complete technical diagnostic and repair procedures.
• John Deere Specific training will be provided and is not necessary to apply.
• Must provide own tools.
• Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a good driving record is preferred.

Starting Compensation: $28-44/hr (Depending on Experience) + Significant Overtime Earning Potential

*During the spring, harvest, and fall seasons, there is a significant opportunity to work additional hours, and overtime work is encouraged. Pap\xc3\xa9 Machinery pays overtime for any work over 8 hours in a day/40 hours in a week and also pays double-time for any work over 12 hours in a day. On average a field service technician at this location earns over 250 hours of overtime per year. Overtime work cannot be guaranteed, but it is our focus to support our customers in their busiest times of the year.
