The Residence Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction among residents. This position involves managing property leasing activities, maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and fostering a welcoming community environment. Duties
Manage the leasing process, including marketing available units and conducting property tours.
Maintain accurate resident files and perform data entry tasks to ensure all records are up to date.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing resident inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Uphold compliance with Fair Housing regulations and ensure all leasing practices are lawful.
Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with potential and current residents.
Implement upselling techniques to promote property amenities and services.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure the property is well-maintained and any resident concerns are addressed swiftly.
Stay informed about LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations as applicable to the property.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with residents and prospects.
Knowledge of law related to property leasing, including Fair Housing regulations.
Proficient in data entry and file management for maintaining resident records.
Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with residents and vendors.
Experience in upselling property features and services to enhance resident satisfaction.
Familiarity with LIHTC guidelines is preferred but not mandatory.
Background in real estate administrative tasks is advantageous.
