Job Description

This position is for a driven and competent CNA or PCA with long term and memory care experience to provide compassionate, personalized resident care by performing tasks involving direct and indirect care, utilizing basic nursing skills and knowledge. Must demonstrate professionalism, have time management skills, communicate effectively with families, peers, visitors, and health care professionals. Ability to be attentive to detail and think critically in challenging situations, and function effectively and independently is a must.

Responsibilities

Ensure clients receive their medication on time Assist residents with activities of daily living (bed bath/shower, oral care, peri-care, nail care, grooming, dressing, feeding, making beds) Light cooking/meal preparation according to the customer's restrictions Provide emotional support Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Must be able to lift/assist with transfers and repositioning Monitor intake/output, meal percentages and report changes from baseline Laundry- washing, drying, & putting up resident clothing, linens, towels, etc Maintaining a clean environment (sanitize the eating area/counters, sweeping/vacuum & mopping floors, washing dishes) Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms Obtain vital signs as needed and report accordingly Engage residents in activities (physical, sensory, mind)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
