We are seeking a Reservationist and Customer Service Representative to join our Hotel team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences by managing reservations, assisting with guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Manage reservation bookings via multi-line phone systems and online platforms with excellent phone etiquette
Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding room availability, amenities, and services
Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details using hotel management software
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and events to enhance guest experience
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and positive relations
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests efficiently
Support night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy and reporting compliance
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence related to guest services
Requirements
Prior experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services preferred but not required
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems
Knowledge of hospitality management principles and hotel management software is a plus
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with patience and professionalism
Hospitality management or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills in resort operations and guest relations
