Job Description

Assist the Alber lab with projects focusing on the generation and isolation of acetate-negative mutants of Cereibacter sphaeroides that can be rescued by the addition of bicarbonate. Prior skills include aerobic and anaerobic cultivation of bacteria, basic molecular biology techniques, and a theoretical background on carbon assimilation. The position also includes duties relating to lab maintenance, such as preparation of media and general stock solutions.

Required: High School Diploma or GED. One year of relevant experience required. 0 years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree.

Bachelor's in Microbiology or related field is desired.

The pay range for this job profile is $15.86 - $20.74. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
