  • The Change management and Process Improvement Office is within the TTS PMO and Business Office department and is designed to provide dedicated support to large-scale, TTS-wide endeavors, crossing multiple LOBs, that are best driven by the PMO function.

What you do

  • Data Exploration: accessing and analyzing data using multiple platforms
  • Build Data Assets: developing and building multi-dimensional data assets for use in Qlik Sense
  • Automation: moving to automate data reporting and flows
  • Stakeholder Management: building strong independent relationships across the firm
  • Process and Controls: Adhering to, developing, and monitoring process improvements and controls

Overview

Automation Reporting Analysts are experienced technical and programming professionals. They will manage and automate data flows for complex and variable processes like tech stack estate (EOVS, VTMs), infrastructure procurement (cloud and physical), program delivery benefits, investment alignment, and resourcing ratios. Reporting analysts will need to independently confirm validity of data as it will often be derived from multiple (even conflicting) sources. They need analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material. The data managed have a substantial impact on departmental strategy and execution. The overall objective of this role is to understand, access and organize the data needs of the department, and work with team to create dynamic reporting and then automate the reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, automate and manage advanced reporting.
  • Deliver useful analytics to address business problems; identify and gain access to data, quantify effort required and establish a project plan.
  • Identify key areas of automation to make the reporting processes smooth.
  • Review and improve existing systems by collaborating with various teams.
  • Consult users and clients to solve complex system issues through in-depth evaluation of data, business processes, systems, and industry best practices.
  • Test dashboards, reports, and automation; validating results.
  • Present and explain data to both technical and non-technical colleagues, including senior management.
  • Work with team to design and develop Qlik Sense solutions using backend database technologies.

  • Advanced knowledge of reporting automation using Impala and Vanguard
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence development, using data analytics and technology to share business information with decision-makers
  • Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools
  • Advanced knowledge of RDBMS systems, Business Intelligence, and data analytics
  • Able to perform and document data analysis, validation, mapping, and design
  • Advanced SQL and data exploration
  • Able to manipulate and blend data to support dashboard design and visualization

  • Prior experience in finance domain
  • Experience working within an Agile development methodology

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in enterprise business intelligence (BI) development.
  • 3+ years of hand on experience with Vanguard, Impala and Qlik Sense
  • Strong experience in data mart / data warehouse design.
