skilled Residential Renovation Project Manager
to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate is an organized, experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage people and processes, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
What You'll Do:
Oversee day-to-day project management for residential renovation and remodeling projects
Coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Communicate clearly with clients and team members throughout each phase of construction
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with safety and code requirements
What We're Looking For:
Proven
project management experience
in residential remodeling or renovations
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and scheduling
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and client satisfaction
Requirements:
Must live within
commuting distance of Greensboro, NC
, or be actively relocating
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and change orders to ensure adherence to approved designs.
Create and update project schedules regularly to meet deadlines.
Monitor project profitability and provide monthly updates on cost projections.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
Manage and allocate materials, labor, and subcontractors for each project.
Inspect job sites to ensure quality work and compliance with standards.
Proactively solve problems and make decisions to keep projects on track.
Motivate and lead employees, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve high performance.
Participate in company planning and strategy meetings as needed.
Ability to effectively manage internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Uphold and embody KC's core values, including quality, honesty, integrity, teamwork, leadership, dependability, and positive communication.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain cost control over labor, materials, and equipment.
Stay up to date on industry practices, codes, and standards to drive innovation and efficiency.
Maintain a high level of communication with clients, trade partners, and team members.
Strong leadership ability.
Qualifications:
3+ years of proven success in residential construction project management specific to renovations.
5+ years of construction experience required.
In-depth knowledge of construction practices, processes, codes, and standards.
In-depth knowledge of NC Building Codes.
Valid Driver's License, dependable vehicle, and auto insurance.
Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful Permanent Resident.
High level of attention to detail and customer service focus.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (a construction/engineering degree is a plus but not required).
Ability to effectively delegate and manage teams.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to learn Construction Management Software.
Must be within commutable distance of our office.
