Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will assist in coordinating all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help facilitate seamless project execution from inception through completion. Responsibilities


Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, ensuring all tasks are aligned with project milestones. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate clear communication and efficient workflow. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate project execution and compliance with design specifications. Support the preparation of construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation. Monitor project progress on-site, conducting regular site visits to verify work quality, safety standards, and adherence to contract requirements. Assist in managing contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to maintain project scope integrity. Utilize construction estimating skills to assist in cost control measures and value engineering initiatives. Prepare detailed reports on project status, including risk assessments, schedule updates, and budget tracking for internal review and client updates. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies using construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam. Participate in project meetings, documenting action items and follow-ups to keep projects on track. Support project managers in resolving issues promptly by coordinating between teams and stakeholders effectively.

Experience


Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience. Minimum of two years of experience in construction project coordination or assistant project management roles within the heavy civil or commercial sectors. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site safety protocols. Proficiency with industry-standard construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other related tools. Familiarity with contract administration processes including reviewing contracts and change orders. Strong understanding of project scheduling principles combined with excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control strategies is highly desirable. Experience working on large-scale projects requiring coordination across multiple teams is a plus. Pay: $58,885.95 - $65,464.80 per year
