Job Description

Our Client, a Public Utilities company, is looking for a Renewable Energy Specialist for their Carneys Point, NJ/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:

• Typically, responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of renewable energy projects.
• They work under the supervision of senior specialists or managers to help advance renewable energy initiatives.
• Assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, or hydroelectric projects.
• Conducting research and analysis on renewable energy technologies, policies, and market trends.
• Supporting the development of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Assisting in the coordination of project activities, including procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Collecting and analyzing data related to renewable energy production, consumption, and efficiency.
• Monitoring project performance and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Supporting the development and implementation of renewable energy policies and regulations.
• Providing technical support and assistance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in renewable energy.

Requirements:

• Process customer & developer applications for interconnect of DER's recd via the online interconnection application tool.
• This includes initial review of applications for completeness & technical accuracy.
• Manage the timely, efficient processing and transfer of required interconnection documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely input of information into the tool, inc communication with applicants .
• Interface w/various client enterprise programs and systems.
• Able to work independently
• Strong communication both spoken and written
• Customer Centric
• High school graduate, some college but not a requirement.
• Specific Experience: Technical/Software
• Excel, Power Bi,
