ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
\xc2\xb7 Act as the conduit between our listeners and station during on site events and promotions.
\xc2\xb7 Assist the promotions and programming departments in a variety of capacities.
\xc2\xb7 The primary responsibility is setting up and representing the station at on-site appearances at various locations and events and driving the company vehicle .

• Assist with the planning and set-up of audio equipment for remote broadcasts that include:
  • One-time events
  • Fixed events
• Routinely and competently perform testing of audio equipment and sound systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with audio equipment that may include:
  • Repairing cables, to include soldering, knowledge of audio connectors and wiring standards
  • POTS and ISDN line testing, ISDN and POTS Codecs
  • IP/Internet based equipment and Codecs
  • Sound systems, DJ mixers
• Such other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Chief Engineer

• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50lbs and able to bend and crouch .
• Ability to use hand tools, including soldering iron, and a variety of electronic test equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two year degree from college or technical school; or 2 years experience in electronics/broadcasting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
