We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Remote Counselor to join our team! In this role, you will mainly be responsible for deliver top-quality mental health counseling to corporate clients. All while working in an remote environment!

Remote Counselor duties and responsibilities

Utilize brief, solution-focused interventions to resolve the clients presenting issue Ensure safety for clients who present at risk to harm self/others Ensure that all clients are properly referred to long-term treatment, when clinically appropriate, utilizing their benefit plan and/or community resources Maintain up-to-date documentation for all client contacts in the Zenovate system per established procedures and processes Maintains clinical responsibility for individual, family and/or group counseling of clients. Provides diagnostic assessments, treatment planning and completes necessary updates as required. Provides effective and efficient management of caseload and transfers/discharges clients in a timely manner. Demonstrates satisfactory performance on identified outcome measures and client satisfaction reports. Participates in program development as requested and where possible. Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies, and demonstrates continued growth.

Remote Counselor requirements and qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required Independent clinical license required Experience providing direct clinical services and solution-focused therapy Knowledge of treatment issues and EAP services Exceptional communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and sound clinical judgment Quick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking skills High-speed internet, quiet home office set up, and ability to take appointments telephonically or over video Must have good documentation, treatment and assessment skills.
