Duties

Assist in demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing to prepare spaces for renovation. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as cutting, sanding, drilling, and fastening. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution. Install flooring, tile, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim carpentry, stucco, and other finishing elements with precision. Perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and concrete repair or restoration projects. Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure safety standards are met and quality control is maintained throughout each phase of the project. Apply caulking, plastering, roofing materials, glass installation, and other specialized skills to complete remodeling projects seamlessly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris according to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors to report progress or issues promptly during each project stage.

Experience

Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is highly preferred; familiarity with residential or commercial renovation is a plus. Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, or roofing. Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution. Strong understanding of construction management principles including safety procedures and quality standards. Ability to perform construction inspection duties to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications. Skills in construction estimating are beneficial for understanding project scope and resource allocation. Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 - 48.0 per week
