Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Remodeling Crew Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to various aspects of remodeling and construction, demonstrating an understanding of residential construction projects. This role requires a motivation to support their team members and ability to learn and grow into a full on remodeler in the future. You must be able to understand instructions and move with a sense of purpose to ensure progress is made by the crew members.

Duties

Assist remodeling crew from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Read and interpret task lists and purchase orders. Perform basic carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Execute drywall installation, plastering, and painting tasks. Manage restoration projects including hardscape elements and glass installation. Assist with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct inventory & material inspections to maintain workflow throughout the remodeling process.

Skills

Exposure to construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols. Skilled in following a scope of work and assisting team members. Knowledge of caulking techniques, stucco application, and flooring installation (including tile laying). Ability to perform concrete forming. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
