The Lewiston mill is the largest of Clearwater Paper\xe2\x80\x99s facilities, producing both paperboard and tissue product, and boasting over 1200 talented employees. Approximately two hours away from Clearwater Paper\xe2\x80\x99s headquarters in Spokane, Washington, the Lewiston paper mill is a key component in Clearwater Paper\xe2\x80\x99s business strategy. What you will do

Reliability Support

• Develops, coordinates, and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
• Investigates and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
• Analyses preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer, and governmental agency reliability objectives.
• Provides technical assistance to production, reliability, and quality groups as needed to solve equipment and process-related problems and develops methods to improve processes.
• Works with production and other reliability personnel to develop detailed project scopes.
• Assist in the management of the Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs including vibration coverage through the mill, plant tank integrity, pressure vessel integrity, and pre-post failure reports.

What you will need

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
• Internship in Manufacturing required, experience in reliability engineering preferred, preferably in the paper industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with vendors, operational leadership, and production employees to achieve goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High-speed manufacturing environment, sustained exposure to high-frequency noises, multiple hours standing, walking on concrete surfaces
• Personal Protective Equipment is required in the mill environment.
• Dirt, noise, odor, and temperature extremes.
• Climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacturing process
