Rodbuster Responsibilities & Duties



Reading and interpreting blueprints and other construction documents Installing and tying steel reinforcement bars, also known as rebar, to support concrete structures Calculating and cutting rebar to appropriate lengths Assembling rebar cages to the required specifications Placing and tying rebar into position with wire, pliers, and power tools Working safely and efficiently at heights and in confined spaces Collaborating with other trades and tradespeople to ensure construction projects run smoothly

Rodbuster Qualifications & Skills



Journeyman certification or equivalent in rebar installation Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years' experience in rebar installation Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints Strong knowledge of safety regulations Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment Willingness to work outside in inclement weather conditions * Willingness to travel throughout New England
