Rehabilitation Specialist/Transportation Driver

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends

Job Summary:

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing specialized rehabilitation services to our clients, as well as safely transporting them to and from appointments and activities. Your expertise and compassionate care will be crucial in helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans Provide hands-on therapy and support in areas such as physical, occupational, or speech rehabilitation Safely operate agency vehicles to transport clients to and from medical appointments, social services, and other essential activities Maintain detailed records and documentation to track client progress and ensure compliance with agency policies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate client care Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices

Qualifications:

Degree or certification in a relevant rehabilitation field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Experience working with individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other specialized needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
