Join our team as a

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist

, working with our adult and minor Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP).

Responsibilities

Conducting and developing clients' rehabilitation assessment for PRP Developing Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) Ensuring that the PRP Rehabilitation Counselors are following the IRP Reviewing progress notes to verify that direct care counselors are effectively addressing the treatment needs and implementing the goals and/or objectives set forth in the IRP Conducting monthly supervision with the counselors Advising the Program Director regarding all development and implementation of rehabilitation services, reflecting the present and anticipated needs of Dynamic Health System clients Participating in group meetings Educating direct care staff on how to provide rehabilitation services that correlate with the goals identified in the IRP Participating in Rehabilitation Counselors' meetings and trainings Developing and ensuring that rehabilitation services meet the needs of the individuals served by the program Supervising Rehabilitation Counselors

Qualifications

License in one of the following: CPRP LGSW, LGPC, LCPC or LCSW-C 2-3 years of experience working with adults and minors with mental health diagnoses Strong organizational skills Ability to complete documentation in a timely manner Knowledgeable of COMAR/CARF standards for behavioral health (preferred) Master's Degree in related field (preferred)

Ultimately, the purpose of this program is to promote recovery, empowerment, independence, and resiliency so that people with mental health issues can live as independently as possible in their community.
