Job Description

Position Summary:



The Supervisory PRP Rehabilitation Specialist provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Rehabilitation Case Coordinators and manages the program's caseload oversight. This role is essential for maintaining quality service delivery, promoting successful client community integration, and ensuring that all operations are in

strict compliance

with the standards of SDORA WELLBEING, the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), CARF, and HIPAA.

Core Responsibilities:



The role is focused entirely on

supervision, compliance, and administrative management

of the PRP team and services.

1. Clinical Supervision and Caseload Oversight

Provide formal and informal clinical and administrative supervision

to assigned Rehabilitation Case Coordinators regarding service delivery and caseload management.

Review, approve, and sign off

on all clinical documentation of direct reports, including

progress notes, assessments, and reassessments

. Address any discrepancies immediately to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical appropriateness. Ensure Case Coordinators are completing

initial and quarterly Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs)

accurately and on time. Monitor staff completion of

intake screenings

for prospective clients. Collaborate with Case Coordinators, consented

external providers, collateral contacts

, and internal personnel regarding the treatment goals of mutually shared clients.
2. Administrative and HR Management

Participate in the

interview process

for candidates for vacant Case Coordinator positions.

Onboard and provide clinical training

to new Case Coordinators, and train existing personnel on policy and procedural updates. Complete

personnel performance reviews

and participate in the performance improvement/progressive disciplinary process for direct reports. Review, approve, and address any discrepancies with direct reports'

timecards and time off requests

.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance

Comply with all relevant standards and regulations of SDORA WELLBEING, the state of Maryland's Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), CARF, and HIPAA. Conduct

chart audits

as assigned by the Quality and Compliance department and direct supervisor, as well as conduct unassigned chart audits on Case Coordinator documentation. Participate in at least one internal committee as determined by the CEO. Complete all required trainings within established timeframes. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:



Education:

An Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree in a behavioral health or related field, such as: Social Work (BSW, MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Counseling Psychology, Human Services, or Rehabilitation Counseling.

Licensure/Certification in Maryland (One of the following):

Licensed in Maryland as a:

LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LGPAT, LGADC, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, LCPAT, or LCADC

.

OR

Certification as a

Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) and Child and Family Resiliency Practitioner (CFRP)

Experience:

A minimum of

2 year of supporting the mental/behavioral health population

.

Supervision Experience:

Experience supervising mental/behavioral health professionals

is strongly preferred due to the nature of the role.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook),

electronic health records

, and the use of computers/laptops. Willingness to conduct

field visits

and report to the office.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with the standards and policies of accrediting bodies such as CARF

Experience with individuals who are diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness and/or dually diagnosed with mental health and substance use conditions. Strong knowledge and experience in

coding and documentation for insurance purposes

.
