As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst Sr., you will support compliance management related to Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other applicable rules and regulations. You will regularly review, support, risk assess and recommend risk mitigation of our regulatory compliance programs associated with our Marketing and Trading and New Energy Ventures businesses. The ability to collaborate, communicate and connect with all levels of the organization and be a self- starter who understands the importance of details are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and legal to identify and resolve potential regulatory compliance risk
  • Serves as a subject matter specialist communicating established company guidance and developing training regarding applicable regulatory rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
  • Responds to data requests from regulatory agencies
  • Participates in discussion and development of positions on potential self-reporting issues
  • Monitors CFTC, FERC and other regulatory audits and enforcement actions and reviews
  • Builds and nurtures internal network
  • Monitors and researches changes in regulations, industry, and technology that may affect our compliance plan
  • Reviews and updates risk assessments and compliance program
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor\'s degree and a minimum eight (8) years\' experience in the energy industry, preferably legal and/or commodity marketing business experience
  • Preferred: Master\'s degree and a minimum ten (10) years\' experience in the energy industry, preferably legal and/or commodity marketing business; Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) license
Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent data leadership skills and experience with system security models
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, writing, communication and solution analysis skills
  • Preferred: Knowledge of natural gas and NGL pipeline industry
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Commodity Marketing and Trading and FERC
