Regulatory Affairs Seeds and Traits Systems and Compliance Operations Lead

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Regulatory Affairs and Traits Systems and Compliance Operations Lead are:

  • Lead and manage systems implementation and maintenance for Regulatory Affairs Seeds and Traits (RAST) through identification of user requirements, planning and implementation of new or enhanced systems (SharePoint; TEAMS; data repositories; dash boards;)
  • Collaboratively partner with the RAST and relevant Regulatory Science teams and effectively network within the digital community to enable digital priorities for Regulatory Affairs systems that manage key data and processes that support our operations and compliance;
  • Work and partner with the Regulatory Affairs (RA) Operations Lead, the RA Digital Operations Lead and other RAST members to understand, document, manage, and reimagine processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiencies;
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Digital Technology team members and Information Technology managers to maintain the efficiency and connectivity of RAST operational systems - Accountable for establishing and maintaining appropriate business relationships with key stakeholders across Regulatory Science and IT, acting as a management focal point for information and compliance systems;
  • Manages and provides operational support for Regulatory Affairs Seeds and Traits processes, systems and databases (e.g. SharePoint; Latin America permits; Literature search for product renewals; trait number identifier; Product Information Guide, Docusign support, commercial support, template management for China Safety Certificates, New Work request templates, support market trade assessment vendor communications, Lumos entry support - TimeCard and fees; supporting myDoc entries, among others;
  • Support enablement and identification of system updates; data retention policy adherence and new solutions to foster sustainable and compliant data usage for information management;
  • Consult on and assemble large, complex data sets (e.g., text, time series, imagery) into a useful format for retrieval and analysis;
  • Work actively to enhance accuracy and accessibility of data system within RAST.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree Data Science, Information Systems or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Related work experience may include computer science or data system management;
  • Experience in driving business process to system solutions to improve operational efficiencies and quality, timeliness of decisions;
  • Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity, implement project plans, and drive results - Proven ability to lead in multi-cultural environment, ability to manage complexity, ability to communicate effectively, good at partnering and collaborating across many types of teams;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify solutions to complex problems;
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills in a business environment Key Figures.
