Position Purpose:


The Registrar works under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and is responsible for maintaining accurate student records for the purpose of state reporting, assisting students and parents with document requests, and assisting administrators, teachers, and support staff with student data information as needed.


Job Duties:

Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website. Maintains high degree of confidentiality in accordance with FERPA requirements. Oversees the management of all student files and information in Infinite Campus (IC) and works closing with the Advising department to ensure accurate student information. Works with Director of Admissions to maintain, oversee, and implement admissions processes including new student enrollment, student withdrawals, requests for enrollment verifications, and updating of student records. Ensures student grades are recorded in IC each semester. Enters grades for off-campus students in a timely manner once grade reports are received from community colleges. Processes all transcript requests through Parchment in a timely manner ensuring that student account balances are current. Works with appropriate staff to ensure student data is correct and complete for required state and CSI reporting requirements. Maintains Free and Reduced Lunch Eligibility reporting. Assists Director of Admissions each semester by reviewing all student schedules verifying full time/part time status is accurate. Processes all requests for full time/part time funding status changes. Assists the Director of Admissions with planning and coordinating the high school graduation ceremony including maintaining the graduation website, creating the graduation program brochure, and ensuring all graduates have met CEC graduation requirements. Participates in professional development as requested by the Director of Admissions. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred. Experience working in a high school preferred.
