Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to treatment. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care as needed. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in triage for emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary. Support patients with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or chronic conditions.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques. Previous experience in specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, critical care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations and administering injections. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical nursing practices.
