Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.


Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated

Registered Nurse Program Coordinator

to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and coordination of nursing services across our programs. As a key leader within our clinical team, the RN Program Coordinator will oversee nursing operations, support staff development, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to meet the needs of the individuals we serve.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse plus one of the following:



Three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR



A bachelor's degree in nursing plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR



A master's degree in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR



A doctorate in nursing or public health plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

Develop, implement, coordinate and monitor facility wide multi-disciplinary program related to Neurology and Neuropsychology management in conjunction with consultant specialists. Collaborate and coordinate care and planning functions with physician, individual, multiple disciplines, and Interdisciplinary Team (ID Team). Evaluate care plans, effectiveness, efficacy and make recommendations for care, treatment and expected outcomes. Provide staff development and on-going education to ID Team regarding treatment plans, standards of care and physician recommendations. Input data related to neurology, track trends and analyze effectiveness of programs as part of on-going performance improvement activities. Provide reports of monitoring data and outcomes to Director of Nursing. Performs EEG testing on individuals upon orders of neurologist and/or Primary Care Provider, providing reports in a timely manner. Coordinate and oversee the Nursing Preceptor Program.

Compensation:

This position has a Special Entrance Rate of

$39.12/hr.

and is eligible for premium pay of $10.00/hr. This position also receives Shift Differential, Longevity Pay, and Additional Pay options.
