Job Description

In-office infusion suite seeking to fill and opening for an Experienced Infusion/ IV nurse in Kihei for a growing Rheumatology Practice. The employee will provide patient care for assigned patients, including assessments, care planning, and education of patients receiving infusion therapy in the infusion suite.

This includes weekend in-office infusion and patient care; current shifts are every other Saturday from 7:30 am to the Last Patient, and hours are changed based on scheduled infusions.

Responsible for providing direct patient care, administering IVIG, biologics, and other infusible or injectables as ordered, and appropriate patient education. Comprehensive Nursing Assessment Establish PIV access Access PIV Medication preparation and Medication Administration Triage infusion patient inquiries Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills Patient safety, monitoring, and follow-up Maintain Infusion/Injection Schedule Research and Study patient oversight and management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years nursing/LVN experience with background in infusion therapy Excellent customer service skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience Experience with electronic Health Records Current HI Nursing license Currently living on Maui
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
