Job description

Registered nurses (RNs) perform basic duties that include treating patients, educating patients about mental and medical conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and/or family members, running therapeutic groups, psychiatric crisis intervention, and seclusion and restraint of patients. RNs record patients' medical histories and symptoms, help to perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operate medical machinery, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation. RNs teach patients and their families how to manage their illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medication and physical therapy. Other related duties.

Start date: ASAP Years of experience REQ: 3-year acute medical Care Manager/UM experience performing utilization review in a hospital setting (not health plan/medical group) First-timers accepted: Seasoned traveler is required Hard stop Weekend REQ: minimum of 4 weekend shifts CA state license: Yes
Qualifications:



1. Current and valid state RN License.

2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

4. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

5. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
