Job Description

A reputable hospital in Connecticut is seeking a part-time Nurse Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight within its Behavioral Health Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced behavioral health professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, guide and mentor clinical staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards, all while fostering a safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Report directly to the Director of Nursing and provide clinical oversight for the Behavioral Health Unit. Coordinate and supervise the daily workflow and patient care activities within the department. Conduct regular rounding to ensure quality standards and staff engagement. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to nursing and behavioral health staff. Assist in onboarding, orienting, and training team members. Monitor compliance with all state, federal, and hospital quality and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Active RN license Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience required. Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience required.
