This position will be required to take call and will be eligible for an 8% pay differential.

Your Key Responsibilities:




Conduct thorough

preoperative assessments

to evaluate patients' current physical and mental health. Coordinate care between patients, primary care providers, surgeons, and ancillary departments to ensure smooth surgical preparation. Utilize tools like the

Surgical Risk Calculator

to assess and communicate surgical risks, supporting informed decision-making. Provide clear guidance to patients on preoperative medications, arrival times, and surgical protocols. Directly provide patient care while delegating tasks as needed to ensure efficient and effective care delivery. Collaborate proactively with the care team to solve problems and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:




EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. Bachelors (BSN) is preferred.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS





Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.



Must maintain current CPR certification.



Must maintain current ACLS certification.



Must maintain current PALS
