Coastal Women's Healthcare is growing and we are seeking an experienced OB/GYN nurse to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

Obtains patient consent, health history, vital signs, medication list, and risk factors. Provides care per guidelines, regulations, and patient needs. Manages patient flow. Administers treatments, medications, and vaccines. Consults with providers to address concerns. Educates patients on health maintenance and condition management. Documents assessments and data in medical records. Collaborates with teams to improve care and outcomes. Maintains exam rooms, tracks medication/supply expiration dates. Assists with obstetrical non-stress tests. Handles telephone triage calls. Manages new patient records and appointment scheduling. Assists in procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Valid nursing license (RN) in Maine. Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred. Current CPR certificate. Current appropriate immunizations as required to work in field. Previous experience in obstetrics or gynecology is highly desirable.
