THIS JOB OFFERS AN INCENTIVE:

As our Medical Surgical Nurse at CHI Flaget Memorial Hospital , you\'ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Flaget Memorial Hospital is a 52-bed facility located in Bardstown Kentucky. We provide care for patients from Nelson Hardin Marion Washington Spencer Bullitt and LaRue counties. Founded in 1951 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Flaget Memorial Hospital is nationally recognized for orthopedic care surgical care and inpatient satisfaction. We offer a complete array of services including cancer care heart care outpatient rehabilitation skilled nursing weight loss surgery pain management general surgery obstetrics and gynecology maternity care and sports medicine. The cancer center is proud to be able to provide full support and cancer care to patients through its medical and radiation oncology programs. Responsibilities

THIS JOB OFFERS AN INCENTIVE:

We are offering up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus AND up to $24,000 toward Student Loan Payback assistance to new hires who meet the following eligibility requirements.

• Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging

Qualifications

Additional requirements for this role include:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Pay Range
$30.00 - $43.50 /hour
