An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department. The nurse will provide care to patients across the lifespan with acute and complex medical conditions. This position emphasizes teamwork, rapid decision-making, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency and trauma settings.
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize interventions.
- Collaborate with emergency physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Safely administer medications and treatments.
- Support patients and families through crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within six months of hire.
- Recent experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of critical care or medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Prior emergency department nursing experience.
- Psychiatric nursing background is a plus.
