We are currently hiring for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth!Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors:- Observation Unit- Inpatient Rehab- Adolescent Behavioral Health- Adult Behavioral Health- Med/Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool.This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your nursing skillsets in the acute care setting! Submit an application today!- You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. - You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure

Requirements:

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

Current nursing licensure in Minnesota

------------------------------------------

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Experience:

1 year Acute RN experience required, Critical Care experience preferred. PALS or ACLS preferred

External candidate RNs are eligible for a sign on incentive of $10,000 for ADNs and $15,000 for BSNs
