Job Responsibilities

With our Agency\'s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located and worked within the SC Department of Mental Health, Division of Inpatient Services to include: G. Werber Bryan, William S. Hall, Morris Village, C.M. Tucker Nursing Care Center.

Supplemental location pay applies to C.M. Tucker Jr. Nursing Care Center & Bryan Psychiatric Hospital facilities. Must meet direct-care qualifications.

As the Registered Nurse, under the supervision of the Nurse Director, you will provide direct patient care and assist in planning, coordinating, assigning and evaluating nursing care in a designated area/ lodge.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Minimum Requirement:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Agency Minimum Requirement:
A bachelor\'s degree in nursing, and one (1) year experience; or a three (3) year diploma in nursing one (1) year of experience; or an associate degree in nursing and one (1) year clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, geriatric nursing or medical-surgical nursing, as appropriate to the mission of the employing facility. Must be licensed by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing (LLR).

Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position. Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
