Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera\xe2\x80\x99s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
  • The Registered Nurse in the Clinic is accountable for providing high quality professional care in their scope of practice to patients and families under the supervision of a provider.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Required Upon hire
  • Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota
  • Required within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support
  • Required within six months of hire (or first available course)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • If working in Inreach or Internal Medicine Clinic where stress tests are performed.
  • Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)
  • If working in Memory Care Clinic
  • Required within six months of hire (or first available course) if working in Occupational Medicine Clinic
  • Federal Drug Screens (Escreen and Profile drug tests, to independently administer to patients)
  • Breath Alcohol Tests (to independently administer to patients)
  • Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (COAHC, audiology)
  • National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (pulmonary function tests)
Work Schedule
  • 1-2 days/week; 24hrs/2wks
