Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations for the Trauma Ortho/Neuro Med-Surg unit.
Provide direct patient care and ensure adherence to clinical standards.
Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Manage patient assignments, resource allocation, and shift communication.
Monitor patient progress, document assessments, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Promote patient satisfaction through compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care.

Qualifications
Required:
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Current RN license in Florida or Compact State
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience
Minimum 1 year of
Charge Nurse experience in an acute care setting
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
