Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular & Ambulatory

Where You Will Work:

Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, & Interventional Radiology Labs performing conscious sedation procedures for both elective and emergency patients.

Were Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS Critical Care/ED or procedural experience preferred

What You'll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Position does require on-call commitment to care for our Heart Attack Patients so must be able to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes of page when called in.

We are part of the Center of Advanced Care at South Suburban Hospital which was newly built in 2020. We have 1 Cath Lab, 1 EP Lab, and 1 IR Lab all with state-of-the-art equipment to support our patient procedures.
