Registered Nurse - Makana North Shore Urgent Care

Location:

Princeville, Kaua'i

Schedule:

Per diem position, Weekdays & Weekends as available (Shift-Based)

Compensation:

$43/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

Registered Nurse (RN)

to join our urgent care team. The RN will provide direct patient care including triage, clinical procedures, medication administration, wound care, diagnostic testing, and patient education. This role works closely with our providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality care.

What You'll Do

Assess and triage patients; obtain history and vitals Initiate IVs, administer medications, and perform injections and vaccinations Perform EKGs and CLIA-waived point-of-care testing Provide wound care and orthoglass splinting Assist providers with procedures and patient treatments Document care in the electronic health record Support clinic operations including room turnover and supply management

What We're Looking For

Required:

Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification ACLS Certification Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred:

1+ year RN experience in emergency medicine Experience working in small or rural clinic environments Familiarity with EHR systems

Work Environment

Fast-paced outpatient urgent care clinic Frequent standing and walking PPE provided and required for safety
