Responsibilities

FT PACU RN - No weekends or holidays required

Lebanon Surgery Center is a fast paced multispecialty surgery center\xc3\x82 committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Lebanon Surgery Center provides first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets. As a PACU nurse at our facility, you have the opportunity to enjoy no weekends and no holidays.

Job Summary:

• Assess patients\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99 post-operative condition
• Monitor vital signs and other measurements of progress, meeting discharge criteria
• Log and chart all findings in patient files
• Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician
• Perform intervention duties during postoperative emergencies

Required Skills:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in TN
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years\' previous experience in PACU experience
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
