Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and wound care. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice. Experience in acute care, critical care, or long-term care settings preferred. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices. Skills in patient assessment, triage, medication administration, and basic life support. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
