General Summary of Position

This RN position is for the Short Stay/Observation Unit.

Unit Description:

The Short Stay/Observation Unit provides skilled nursing care for acutely ill patients placed in observation status, and acutely ill patients admitted with various diseases such as arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, Congestive Heart Failure, and pacemakers, as well as other medical surgical conditions. The unit consist of 32 beds and average patient stay is 24-48 hours. Gain great experience in a fast-paced environment and advance your telemetry skills.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Associate\'s degree from an accredited School of Nursing Required
• Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing Preferred
• Bachelor\'s degree enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years. Required

Experience

• 1-2 years RN experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire Required or
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure license eligible Upon Hire Required and
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period. within 30 Days Required
