Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg, Stroke, and Stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements:

Minimum

2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical experience

Required experience in

Stroke and Stepdown units

Must have documented

prior travel experience

Required EMR:

EPIC Active RN license in Current State

Required:

BLS (ACLS preferred) Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and Stroke Stepdown patients Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and complex clinical changes Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Assist with stroke protocols, rapid assessments, and emergent care when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
