How you'll contribute


You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.


Qualifications and requirements


Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include:


Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
Requires one at least one year of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred.


What you will do


Will be responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care.
Identifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers.
Will execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.
Will advocate for the patient representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts.
Will be responsible to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.

North Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 178-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical/surgical inpatient units; and intensive care and short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the region's only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals' only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults.
