We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to best practices and protocols.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and pain management therapies. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Assist in the sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment for patient care. Monitor patients for any changes in condition, responding promptly to emergencies as they arise. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.

Experience

A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. Previous experience in an emergency room or acute care setting is preferred. Familiarity with pain management techniques and experience administering injections is highly desirable. Knowledge of discharge planning processes and health coaching strategies is a plus. Experience working in nursing homes or with geriatric populations is beneficial. Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding the importance of accurate record-keeping is essential. Experience with dermal fillers or other aesthetic procedures may be considered an asset.
