Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our
Emergency Department (ED)
team. The ideal candidate will be able to respond swiftly and effectively to a wide variety of emergency situations, providing expert care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an emergency setting.
Quickly and accurately assess, triage, and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide care to patients experiencing trauma, acute illness, or mental health crises.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapy in accordance with hospital policies.
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
Uphold all hospital, state, and federal regulations and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum
18 months of recent experience
working in an Emergency Department (ED) setting.
ED experience within the past six months
is required.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (
ASN required; BSN preferred
).
Licensure & Certifications:
Active
New Jersey RN License
or
Compact State License
(Required).
BLS - AHA
(Required).
ACLS
(Required).
PALS
(Required).
Telemetry Certification
(Required).
NIHSS
(Required).
CEU: 4-Hour Stroke Contact
(Required).
