Job Summary and Qualifications

The Wound/Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital\xe2\x80\x99s Wound/Ostomy Program.
  • The Wound/Ostomy Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and staff training to ensure clinical expertise
  • The Wound/Ostomy Nurse works collaboratively with the medical staff, and provides education to patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care
What qualifications you will need:
  • Valid California RN license
  • Current BCLS certification
  • WOCN or Wound Certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN, MSN Preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years acute care hospital experience in area of specialty
