About the Job

We have an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at Twin Pines RTF in Central Point, Oregon and The Beckett Center in Medford, Oregon. The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for teaching and monitoring medication administration to non-licensed caregivers and ensuring that the health needs of each client are identified and proper care is obtained. The RN provides professional psychiatric nursing care for individuals affected by severe and persistent mental illness in a residential clinical setting. This position assists in formulating a diagnosis as well as developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on observations. This position will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full Time with occasional evenings/weekend on-call availability by phone)

$6,666.66 - $7,500.00 per month DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

About the Programs

The Beckett Center is a 14-bed, secure Crisis Residential Treatment Facility located in Medford, Oregon. This 24-hour program serves as a diversion to the emergency room and offers a low stimulation, professionally staffed, therapeutic environment for those with mental health needs to safely and effectively de-escalate through appropriate interventions, supervision, and physical safeguards.

Twin Pines is a 16-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) located in Central Point, Oregon. Twin Pines RTF serves adults living with a serious mental illness, half of whom are under Civil Commitment and half of whom have been deemed unable to Aid & Assist in their own defense.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need
  • MUST have an Associate\'s degree in Nursing. A Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing is preferred
  • MUST have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Previous experience providing acute psychiatric care or outpatient community mental health treatment is highly preferred
Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.
