Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is the leading dermatology practice in Northwest Arkansas. Led by Dr. Henry, a Fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon, our expert team provides comprehensive care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology all under one roof. Our clinics are located in Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, and Harrison.

We are seeking a warm, detail-oriented, and highly organized Registered Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. Do you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment? What You'll Do:



Demonstrates consistent adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols during all clinical and surgical procedures. Performs hand hygiene and applies antiseptics to patient skin in accordance with facility standards. Recognizes and appropriately responds to breaks in sterile technique, including discarding compromised materials and re-establishing a sterile field. Accepts feedback professionally when sterile technique is compromised. Accurately documents patient medications, including dosage, frequency, and instructions (sig), and performs medication reconciliation in the EHR using macros/MIPs. Effectively prepares and assists with cosmetic dermatology procedures, including lasers, injectables, PRP, and PDT. Responsibilities for cosmetic procedures include patient preparation, PPE usage, documentation, labeling, and medical photography. Assists with biopsies, excisions, wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes with precision and attention to patient comfort. Administers injections and medications as directed and performs routine specimen collection and processing. Consistently records vital signs and patient history, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Provides clear and compassionate patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. Maintains organized and up-to-date patient charts, forms, consents, and health histories. Coordinates appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and referral processing with efficiency and attention to detail. Responds promptly and professionally to patient, pharmacy, and provider communications, including calls and voicemails. Demonstrates proficiency in EHR systems and iPad-based documentation. Manages inventory of medical supplies and ensures exam rooms are properly stocked and maintained. Performs routine equipment sterilization and maintenance, including autoclave cleaning and spore testing. Assists with general clinic upkeep, including laundry and sanitation tasks, contributing to a clean and safe environment.

What We're Looking For:



Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and with accuracy. High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability. Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team patient-centered clinical setting. Willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed, including Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, and Harrison.
