We are seeking a part-time skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to go out of their way to give our patients the utmost care. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring aseptic technique is followed at all times. Take and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures. Manage patient records & notes using Open Dental software, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Operate 3D and Pano machines for dental imaging. Operate iTero digital scanning machine for digital impressions & Invisalign cases. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the clinic environment. Support in endodontic procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of relevant techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic. Familiarity with dental terminology and general dentistry practices. Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques. Experience with 3D scanning technology is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of Open Dental & Dexis is a plus. Ability to take vital signs accurately. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
