Job Summary:

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them develop essential life skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide one-on-one interventions to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, and community settings.

- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs.

- Track and document client progress through detailed data collection.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the success of treatment plans.

- Attend ongoing training to enhance ABA techniques and skills.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism.

- Registered Behavior Technician through BACB with Certification

- High School Diploma required; some college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive in challenging situations.

- Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain CPR certification.

- Reliable transportation to travel to various therapy locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or similar role.

- College coursework in psychology, special education, or related fields.

- Familiarity with ABA therapy and data collection.
