We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The RBT will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans, promote positive behavior change, and support client progress in various settings. Duties
Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized care plans and ABA principles
Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and consistently
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence
Support clients during teaching sessions, social skills development, and behavior management strategies
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to modify intervention strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
Document all sessions thoroughly in medical records and care plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior change and skill acquisition
Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, medical terminology, and behavior management techniques
Qualifications
Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods
Strong understanding of special education practices, patient care principles, and medical documentation standards
Ability to work effectively with people with diverse needs in a compassionate and professional manner
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is preferred
Excellent communication skills for teaching clients and collaborating with team members
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to support client growth and development
