Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

The Registered Behavior Technician will provide 1:1 direct therapy to clients by implementing the client's treatment plan and behavior analytic procedures under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

What if I don't have the RBT certification?

The RBT certification requires completion of a 40-hour course, a competency assessment by an approved supervisor, and passing the Registered Behavior Technician exam provided by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Grace Autism Services will provide access to everything you need to get your RBT certification!

Grace Autism Services provides clinic based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals on the Autism Spectrum. ABA therapy applies the laws of behavior to address socially significant behaviors. All therapy materials (i.e. client specific) are provided and ongoing continuing education

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (must provide a copy) A minimum of 3 professional references Values that align with those of Grace Autism Services Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license and proof of current personal auto insurance Transportation that is reliable and insured in the employee's state of residency Willingness to travel to clients occasionally Flexible availability which includes Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Able to work evenings and occasional weekends Capable and willing to safely work with all clients Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of experience working with individuals with autism or other special needs Previous experience and/or knowledge about Autism and ABA Therapy Active Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing CPR certification
Grace Autism Services allows access to the coursework and prerequisites necessary to qualify for the Registered Behavior Technician certification exam. RBT and CPR certifications are required to work with a client.

Work Location: Clinic or client location with occasional travel
